Lighting Setup for Drawing & Painting
I have three lights when I am working on my own artwork. A lamp with a Daylight 60watt bulb which on my left, a magnifying glass with another daylight bulb built into it this in in front of me and a Halogen twin lamp set up on my right. This all may sound elaborate but it gives me perfect lighting for both the artwork and the videos you see. It minimises the shadows this way. What you see on the screen is nearly what I see when I am working as my head is just to the right of the camera. I always work with this set up even when I am not filming as it gives me as near as possible to the perfect light. Of course this set up can never replace natural daylight but as I also have to work in the evening and need the consistency of near perfect light. What's your lighting set up?
